Welcome to our 2019 CSR report. The brought with it many exciting developments and achievements for VIKING Life-Saving Equipment. We acquired Drew Marine’s Fire Safety (FSR) division, which is one of the top three marine fire service providers in the world.

One safety partner can provide it all. cylindr helped to write much of the content of this extensive product and service catalogue, aimed at the offshore oil and gas sector.

2018 was a year of achievements for VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S (VIKING). The most significant of these was the acquisition of Norway-based lifeboat and davits manufacturer, Norsafe, adding some 800 employees into the VIKING family. Norsafe has contributed to maritime safety for over a century and, through this acquisition, we have strengthened our presence and ability to service the maritime industry.

VIKING has the power to simplify safety. This catalogue, with most of the content developed by cylindr, contains information about all the products and services offered by VIKING Life-Saving Equipment to the maritime sector.

Rough seas with wave heights up to 50% above the stipulated heavy weather testing requirements proved no obstacle for VIKING’s innovative LifeCraft™ system, paving the way for cruise ship operators worldwide to benefit from all the advantages that this new hybrid – intended to replace lifeboats/liferafts – has to offer.

Welcome to our Corporate Social Responsibility Report for 2017. Since its founding in 1960, VIKING has focused on saving passengers and crew in life-threatening situations. For many years now, we have also worked to simplify the process for shipowners and other maritime decision makers when it comes to establishing and maintaining a high level of safety. We view our products and services as a contribution to creating a safer world. Our contributions also extend beyond our products and services, including our commitment to supporting the local communities in which we operate.

The acquisition of lifeboat solution provider Norsafe is another boost for VIKING’s worldwide capabilities, ensuring a unique and unmatched product and service offering in the maritime safety industry.

VIKING is now the worldwide distributor for Rosenby Engineering’s revolutionary HydroPen™ System, which enables crew to safely and efficiently tackle costly container fires at heights.

When your fleet has a large number of vessels, including some of the world’s biggest container ships, and you operate some 200 shipping routes to visit almost all of the important commercial ports, it’s the Big Picture that really counts.
